Skylabs NZ was founded by Jordi Blasco, a computational physicist and very active astronomy advocate and science communicator to the general public. Jordi has been photographing the night sky for more than two decades, transitioning from old-school 35 mm film SLR cameras to CCDs and CMOS sensors. Jordi has designed very popular tools and gadgets used by astrophotographers and astronomers worldwide.
Skylabs NZ offers weekend astronomy and stargazing sessions, providing an immersive experience under the stars. Additionally, our comprehensive range of tools and gadgets enhances visual astronomy and simplifies astrophotography, making them more accessible to enthusiasts.
